I think I might have a problem...

I love margaritas, but have a hard time w/ the super duper sweet ones. So, naturally the SkinnyGirl margarita was for me.

However, after buying it a couple times, I quickly realized that it is overpriced, doesn't have nearly enough tequila in it, and is basically composed of a few simple ingredients I already have around the house.

I know there is a very good chance that I am late to the party on this, but whatevs I'm so excited about it I just felt the need to share. I've been indulging in one of these the past few nights -- so refreshing!

my perfected skinny girl margarita recipe:

vigorously mix in a tumbler:

ice a shot of good tequila (I've been using Familia Camarena Reposado and El Jimador Reposado) the juice of 1 lime some tonic water healthy squeeze of agave nectar sprinkle of sea salt.

The reason I say that I might have a problem is that there is virtually no guilt involved in this beverage -- cost is low, ingredients are natural, calories minimal...In other words, this means I have noticed that the bottle of tequila is getting lighter and lighter...might need to save for weekends...HA!
