Music and theater this weekend in Louisville

Midway through another week. It might make me sound old and boring, but I'll just say it: time is sure flying by lately. I feel like the weeks just keep barreling forward--we're already halfway through July?! Say wha?!?!?

Excited for this coming weekend. Andrew and I are going to spend all day Saturday at the Forecastle Music Festival. I will finally get to dance my tail off to the spastic sounds of Girl Talk.

I also want to put in a plug for a new play opening tomorrow night at the Kentucky Center for the Arts. Eric Welch, a local actor and friend of a dear fellow yogini, co-wrote and produced this new production, Circus Circus. So exciting! The subject matter is a little controversial, but that usually makes for great theater in my opinion.

There are several other fun things theater and music related happening this weekend. Diana Krall? Shakespeare in the Park? Yes please.
