We made it!
Now that we're back and I know I'm not going to jinx it, can I say that we had a perfect trip?
It's hard to imagine, but we honestly had a flawless time starting with an amazing Airbnb in Denver. I've never seen a small space better utilized! If you're in the area, I highly recommend it...the fridge was stocked with Prosecco!
From there we drove out to Moab and stayed for six days. Made our way through Arches National Park, Canyonlands National Park, Goblin Valley State Park and Little Wild Horse canyon, hiked to the (almost) top of 12,500 ft Mt. Tukuhnikivatz in the nearby La Sal mountains. It had some snow on the top and it was quite the hike...Andrew got a lot closer to the top then I did.
After hiking (A LOT) for six days straight and no yoga practice, it's been slow going getting back into a routine. I tried to contol the damage mid trip with a massage at Spa Moab...hot stones are my new favorite. Glamping was a bit of a letdown, but still fun. Margaritas were good at various locations and we met some cool people from various locations.
While we did take a bunch of photos, it wasn't nearly as big a priority as in previous years. Not sure if that's a sign I'm getting older or what, but I just don't care quite as much....I'd rather just look around with my eyeballs!
These are all from my phone...I might get the energy to upload the ones from our camera today...
Our Airbnb in Denver...their porch was to die for
We took a detour through Colorado National Monument on our way over to Moab. So beautiful
