I know I'm bias, but this little Statue of Liberty is just precious....he was adorable! Like Kayla said on her IG, "when your obsession becomes your Halloween costume." HA!
Cheers to another calm work week and another beautiful, family filled weekend. I know I say it a lot, but AH! I'm feeling pretty grateful for my #lifeonridley.
Corydon's annual Halloween parade was last night and it was amazing! The turnout was insane and it was just another event in a string of others that prove major things are happening in this little town. I wish I could have gotten down to Emery's...they had a big screen showing Beetlejuice outside!? Awesome.
However, after that yesterday and hosting the neighborhood block party with Kaylex and Mom & Dad today, I am exhausted. MY FEET!!!!
Looking forward to a bath with some Lush goodies tonight, along with a face mask, and our last episode of Black Mirror.
Like I just said above, we have one episode of Black Mirror left for tonight. This season was incredible! Some episodes were so stressful they were semi-tortuous, but so, so good. There is no show like it.
The NPR Politics podcast switched over to daily episodes this week and they are perfect 20 minute election summaries for my drive into work. I love them because they're keeping me informed without depressing me too much...
Pretty much answered this one above...lots!
In addition to yoga, lots and lots of walking and hauling crap around. My feet are feeling it.
Taco in a bag, bbq dinners, Halloween candy, cotton candy...
Trying to supplement with smoothies, lots of water, and decent meals throughout, but sheesh!
Barbara Kingsolver's book of essays, High Tide in Tucson, This is our next book club selection and it couldn't come at a better time. Kingsolver's thoughts are just right for these troubled times.
