Sia's new album, This is Acting. Power anthems!
Better Call Saul season two started this week! As well as something considerably less quality: Survivor.
Handstand. Handstand. Handstand. Handstand. Trying to hold tuck, trying to pike up.
Pike jumping up has been one of the biggest challenges for me. Dare I say that it's getting easier?!
A whole bunch of not healthy stuff. It was kind of a rough week...I'm not sure what got into me! I made chocolate chip cookies last weekend, Girl Scout cookies are arriving, out to dinner for brisket + mac n cheese, etc.
Two books...AGAIN!? I'm on a real roll y'all. I loved both books I finished this week. The Blackwater Lightship by Colm Toibin and Four Seasons in Rome by Anthony Doerr. One novel, one memoir, both fabulous. I swear that reading is like working out...I have get in shape and once I get there, I can fall into a real stride. If I can keep this up, I'm going to blow last year's total out of the water.
We went to see Tommy Emmanuel at the Kentucky Center. He is amazing. Andrew and I went several years ago and when we saw that he was coming back, we thought it would be a fun Christmas gift for Andrew's parents. We had fun and I have a new favorite cocktail in Louisville: the Lady Geisha at Doc Crow's. So yummy.
I also am finally on the Snapchat wagon for good. Of course, like any other person over the age of 22, I was at first confused, worried, and extremely disgusted. However, with a little research and time spent...it's super fun!
