Last week was SXSW and as always, I enjoyed NPR All Songs Considered's nightly dispatches. I always come away with new music.
I've already got 63 songs on my Spring 2016 playlist. Right now I'm loving music from The 1975, Jason Isbell, and I'll admit it, Fifth Harmony.
I've been organizing. Basically I'm throwing a bunch of stuff away, putting things in tubs, and feeling accomplished.
Also thinking about getting some things done around the house. I really want new hardware on our kitchen cabinets and am fighting the urge to head to Anthropologie as I type this!
Not much. Honestly, it's not what I'm into right now.
So the tabata train did not leave the station this week. I did however get some cardio in by dancing maniacally in the studio. So fun! I also made it to barre on Thursday and just got back from my first run in years! Alex (big bro) and I went on a shortened version of his daily route...I made it 2.2 miles! I was pretty proud of myself.
As you can see above, I have also started experimenting with fingertip variances in arm balances. I've seen my fellow yogis on IG busting out these for years...finally feel like my hands are strong enough!
We've been eating a lot of chopped salads and I've been drinking a lot of La Croix...per usual.
Still working on Ready Player One. I've got to get a move on this weekend...
Thanks to an episode of Tsh Oxenrider's The Art of Simple podcast, I have discovered chatbooks.com. Lots of fun...currently in the process of getting my first few ordered!
