Got home from Asheville last night, Andrew and I popped a bottle and had dinner out on the back patio. I'm done with my advanced studies, 300 hours, and am now certified at the 500hr level! It feels so good to be done. Of course I will continue to attend teacher trainings and workshops, but they will be on my terms, studying exactly what I what....yessss
I got through a large chunk of Ready Player One audiobook on the drive yesterday. It is definitely (somewhat) entertaining, but corny and full of poor dialogue. It will make for a nice movie next year though, especially with Steven Spielberg in charge.
Duh. See first paragraph.
Also, starting this morning, Andrew is going to four day work weeks with Fridays off. Yay! However, that means he has to be on the far East end of Louisville by 6:00am, which means getting up every day at 4:30am. I have decided to get up with him in order to get ninety minutes of practice time in instead of my usual sixty. I may also use the extra thirty minutes to write here or get stuff done around the house. Needless to say, our evening routine will be even shorter as bedtime is going to be even earlier....how is that possible?! Ha!
Lots and lots and lots of chair yoga. It was so good though--this last training was Yoga for Seniors and it was so helpful. I have many new tricks in my toolbox.
Everything. I had some great meals in Asheville, per usual. Highlights include a bottle of Lambrusco (shared between three people let's be clear) at Sunny Point Cafe, the veggie quesadilla at Avenue M, and fish tacos at White Duck.
Some random stuff. Nothing of real interest to report I'm afraid.
This hilarious digested read of It's All Easy by Gwyneth Paltrow via The Guardian. So great! Thanks for sending, Mom!
Okay, it's 4:57am and my time on here is almost up. Back to the studio for yoga!
Have a great week everyone.
