I feel a little like a broken record, but man things seem out of control in the world. What to think? What to do? I don't have any answers
We started the new series on HBO, The Night Of. Pretty suspenseful thus far. Enjoyed it.
Bad country...like every summer. It's perfect. And so bad.
We were successful at the 326 yard sale yesterday. Andrew hauled out a bunch of stuff and managed to sell it all!
I also accomplished some things on my summer to-do list including wiping down the fronts of all kitchen cabinets. I hate this job and it feels good to complete it.
Also went for high tea this afternoon at The Old Capitol Tea Room here in Corydon. So fun! I highly recommend it local readers...it's fabulous!
This class is quickly becoming one of my favorites on Yogaglo: love Tiffany and her athletic, anatomical approach to yoga.
I discovered Wild Friends nut butter awhile back, but didn't realize they made a cinnamon raisin flavor. SO GOOD.
Lila by Marilynne Robinson. Wow. I finally read this one and it is that good. Also, I managed to read Stephanie Danler's new book, Sweetbitter, in just two sittings this weekend. It's not great literature and it's not going to change your life, but if you're into food and restaurants, it's fun. It's basically the movie Center Stage in book form subbing out food & wine for ballet. What could go wrong?!
Watch out for the third act though...there are ridiculously written sex scenes that made me LOL.
Some drapey black pants that are affordable and that I actually like. At Old Navy of all places!? Loving them.
