After a satisfying thunderstorm yesterday, we have an amazing 54 degrees outside as I type this. YES
I am enjoying the internet's overwhelming love of fall and all of its basicness. It really just is a great time of year.
Not much to report this week, it was wonderfully calm. I feel great, belly is getting noticeably larger, and to my delight, another major yoga celebrity is pregnant this week, due in February! Last week it was Tara Stiles, this week it's Rachel Brathen, the Swedish IG phenomenon. She's only a couple weeks behind me. It's kind of hilarious and fun to follow along with them.
I finally got around to watching Brooklyn, which was lovely.
Lawrence Wright is probably my favorite journalist working today. I got a lot out of his interview with Tom Ashbrook this week: Lawrence Wright On the Post 9/11 Rise of Terror. On a much lighter note, the next day's show was the Greatest American Television Shows, Ranked.
A whole lot of nothing! I went to work, came home, taught, ate dinner, and slept. It was a nice week.
I made muffins again. And ate two a day, again.
Still working on the Stradal novel I mentioned last week. It's a sweet little book. I have this one by Chris Cleave to start next.
