It was another quiet week...still busy as usual, but no extra events, which was nice. Speaking of, I've started doing my Louisville grocery shopping bright and early on Sundays, which is amazing! It's sad because the only reason I did not do this before was that Kentucky does not sell wine until 1pm on Sundays and by then it's already too crowded, so I just didn't go. Needless to say, I have no need for the wine shop right now...haha! Stores are empty and I can get up and back in two hours. So much better.
Happy to see Project Runway start back and we also enjoyed a documentary on Netflix, The Imposter. Wow--insane.
Finally getting to see what this Frank Ocean album is all about now that it's on Spotify. To be boring and echo the rest of the world, I like it!
I actually made a decision and bought a stroller. It is the baby gear purchase I was most concerned about. When in Norway, being with a one year old for 10 hours a day, 5 days a week, I got my fair share of baby gear practice. I could not have lived without the jogging stroller--super heavy duty---we walked everywhere! I plan to do as much walking with this baby as possible and I was adamant we get a decent one. I had to compromise a bit to find one available to see in person in Louisville before buying, ending up with this one. I'm thrilled with it!
To purchase this I had to make my first (and let's be real...probably only) trip to Babies R Us. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be and I managed to get the stroller on sale, but STILL.
This week I made chocolate chip cookies (with REAL butter...gasp!) and ate them for breakfast. #sorrynotsorry
Same old 30 minutes of moving. Thanks to dear friend + yoga student Mary Bowman for making me feel this is adequate! You've been such an awesome and positive source of encouragement throughout this pregnancy so far--love ya!
Ian McEwan's new one, Nutshell. Ahhhh. He is so good! How does he do it?! This was an especially fun one this time, but also it hit a little close to home given that the narrator is a baby in the womb! HA!
To go along with my reading, I got some new bubble bath this week. It comes in lavender, but I made myself branch out to the vanilla citrus mint. I'm enjoying my baths a lot lately.
Of course, I would discover the website Read Brightly when I only have a few months left working at the library. What a great site to get ideas! However, I can it being a great resource for homeschooling inspiration. Love the layout and listicals.
