Okay. We're about a week away from the official due date of this baby. I have been feeling pretty great! I got to say that this last month has lasted awhile, but has not been that bad physically.
The weird thing is that last Friday was my last day of work and it's sad, but true: I was more than ready to leave and very glad to be done. While I still loved my job as elementary librarian and am grateful for those five years, I am so ready for the next stage of my life. I have become dedicated to building an online community with NWM and am fully plugged into the grassroots work of SoINdivisible in New Albany. Yesterday Mom and I hosted an organizational huddle in coordination with the Women's March and it was so wonderful. 30 people from Harrison and Crawford county showed up who were smart, funny, and ready to work. So good.
Given the severity and insanity of what's happening in our country right now, plus the baby, I'm not sure how much I'll be writing here on the personal blog. I will pop in occasionally, but it will not be regular. If you want to stay in touch with me regularly, I suggest subscribing to NWM.
So for now I say, see you on the flip! Of course I will post once baby is born.
