I've never been more ready for spring and summer...and we didn't even have a winter! Let's get on with it. I'm ready for long walks, patio sitting, windows open, etc.
So today, let's talk about some things that I always love for spring and somethings I'm especially excited for this year...
Espiral Vinho Verde // Trader Joe's
Whitney Adams referred to this as the "Sprite of wine." Ha! It's not nearly as sweet, but slightly sparkling, very refreshing and crisp.
And of course, given that it's at TJ's, it's only $4.99 a bottle. Can't beat it for porch sitting.
I've been listening to the nightly dispatches by NPR Music from SXSW for almost ten years now. I can remember listening while walking to class in Asheville, riding the bus in Norway, on long runs in Edinburgh, or while trying to find a parking spot for yoga in Austin during the festival itself. I have to say that it was kind of surreal to listen to these last week while I fed my baby....WHAT?! Time flies.
It's a spring tradition, but I also always discover new music and come away with lots of great stuff.
Andrew and I purge our stuff often and I plan to tackle it all again this spring. I'm thinking I'm going to have to take a real look at my clothes...I don't really want to get rid of anything, but I anticipate that my daily wear will be much different from here on out...and I have a large tub of things that don't fit...
I plan to go through and put away things that I'm not sure about, rather than give away. If I don't miss it after awhile, it's gone.
The return of Better Call Saul, Game of Thrones, Silicon Valley, and Fargo.
And I am very excited for the new Hulu show, The Handmaid's Tale:
I have committed to helping Andrew garden this year. We are adding hanging pots in addition to the pots I did last year, as well as an additional raised bed too. I may seriously regret this, but I think it's time I grow up and embrace yardwork...
