How is it that it's been one year since our Norway/Scotland trip?!
In some ways it seems like forever ago, but in other ways just yesterday. Not sure if I could be more cliche, but it's really true...time speeds up.
It's been a crazy year. Pregnancy and the birth of Simon obviously, leaving my job, and the disaster of the Trump presidency which is quickly reshaping society as we speak. Monumental change for the good, the bad, and yet to be determined.
All I know is that I'm very grateful for my life and how wonderful it is. I get to stay home with the sweetest little guy who is healthy and a very happy baby, teach plenty of yoga at YOR, which is full of awesome students I'm lucky to call my friends. I am surrounded (quite literally) by family and wouldn't have it any other way. The town of Corydon and city of Louisville are blossoming with lots of exciting things coming our way!
I'm grateful for the overwhelming amount of content to consume thanks to the internet and the incredibly talented individuals producing it. Thank you Spotify, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube, The Atlantic, Slate, NPR, Netflix, Hulu, HBO, Vox, YogaGlo, The NYTimes, The Washington Post, Bon Appetit, Milk Street Radio, Food52, and many other outlets for inspiring, educating, and entertaining me every day.
A lot can happen in a year and I look forward to what comes next.
