So thrilled the new creek trail bridge will be placed today, connecting it all the way to Hayswood park. I walk on this trail with the babies almost every day and it brings me so much joy.
It has also come in handy for my weekly running sessions. I am working towards my solo half-marathon at the end of the year. I have made it over halfway, runinng 7.5 miles the other day. I was supposed to run at least 8 this past weekend and just didn’t do it…I am fully okay with saying yeah, nevermind to this silly, self-imposed goal simply because of the amount of time it requires…we shall see
So many good things this Thanksgiving week. Andrew is off work and the weather looks good. Ros is finally sleeping through the night, which has been a total game changer. Simon is thriving and playing with the boys of Ridley. He’s obsessed with trains right now, playing by himself for, not kidding, hours at a time! I know it won’t last so I’m trying to soak up every minute. We’ve converted the studio into a playroom/work room/yoga room and it is wonderful. We still don’t see any reason to use it as our bedroom being as big as it is…almost half the square footage of the house!
We celebrated our ten year wedding anniversary (WHAT) with dinner at 610 Magnolia othis past Saturday night. Being such big Top Chef and Edward Lee fans, we have wanted to go for some time and it definitely didn’t disappoint. So fabulous.
Now that sleep is more of a thing, I’ve been practicing a lot and finally feel somewhat good doing yoga. I CANNOT WAIT to start teaching again…be on the lookout for an email soon with details…first class back is Monday, January 7th!
Like millions of others, I am enamored by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and her tenacity since the mid-term election. She is killing it on Instagram.
Of course, there is lots more to report, but I must move on. I hope everyone out there has a great Thanksgiving!
