Today WAs a beautiful day!
SPRING IS COMING!
I am unable to believe this pregnancy is half over. It has flown by so far with little to no events at all! So excited for 20 week anatomy scan to find out boy or girl! Now that we've finally come to a decision on names for either, I have little to no worry or preference on it.
I feel great, so much better than with Simon. Yoga is easy and I feel less apprehensive towards practice. I have stuck strictly with Ashtanga practices, throwing in some variations here and there. I am adhering to my own doctrine of getting on one leg for "5, 5, and 5" every day and documenting it over on the studio's IG highlights. However, I am not ashamed to say that I'm ecstatic to be on the downward climb now.
Lots of cooking, baking, and eating around here. That is something that is exactly like my first pregnancy: a major sweet tooth. This week I was obsessed with So Delicious coco whip sundaes, made chocolate bread pudding, and bought cocoa almond spread today w/ plans for a babka!
I'm roasting beets as I type this in hopes for a healthy supper to balance it out...we shall see...
Read/reading multiple things this week. Finished the Dalai Lama book and the Simon Van Booy novel: highly recommend both. Currently working on the Maggie O'Farrell "memoir" and the Amy Bloom novel. I say "memoir" because I highly doubt the majority of its stories are true. She is a fantastic writer, but there is just no way. If anyone out there has read this thing....EMAIL ME!
