IT'S A GIRL...
I am still in shock and not quite believing it, but Simon is most definitely getting a little sister this summer!
We are thrilled and feel very grateful.
So far it's been a weekend full of celebration and activity. One Easter dinner and egg hunt down, another to go tomorrow. Last night was a quick night out for Andrew and I, most of the spring landscaping was done at the house today, I taught class, we bought the double stroller (OMG WHAT), and Kayla managed to get the cutest photos possible of Philip and Simon. Dare I say I think spring might finally be here?!?
I read a couple of things this week, one that was okay and one that I highly recommend. If you like food memoirs, Give a Girl a Knife by Amy Thielen is alright, but nothing great. Very much like other food memoirs I've read before and I think I may be burnt out on the genre for awhile. I blew through an intensely creepy novel, The Perfect Nanny by Leila Slimani. If you like a creepy page turner that is also extremely well-written, this is that. So good!
Many thanks to all for reading and I hope you are having a happy Easter weekend!
