So this month was cold, dark, and very long, but also really nice.
I am back to a lot of yoga, a lot of the time and it’s perfect.
It has been so wonderful to be back teaching and wow am I overwhelmed by the response at the Discovery Center! I can’t believe how many students we have and it is so fun. There is still plenty of room available since we moved into the bigger room, so please spread the word!
For Christmas Andrew gave me a class card to 502 Power Yoga, so I’ve attended class regularly and it is fabulous. Also, I have started “working” there once a week as part of their Energy Exchange team. I am so excited about this and will look forward to Fridays. I’ve come full circle in my yoga “journey” and am reminded of my Bristo days ten years ago.
A COUPLE THING I LOVED:
Maggie Rogers’ Heard it in a Past Life.
It’s been a long time since I listened to something this much. Her single, Alaska, was one of my most played songs of 2017…you’ve definitely heard it if you come to my classes. It was long wait for this full album and it was so worth it.
Bon Appetit’s Carla lalli Music and her recipe for Pasta e Fagioli. It’s no secret that I love BA and this video is charming. More importantly, I’ve made this recipe at least three times this month, no joke. So good.
These babies are just too much. They are the sweetest. Simon got to play in the snow for the first time and Ros can now sit in the grocery cart, which is HUGE. We have made it.
I’m afraid since this month was dedicated to getting yoga classes back online, my reading has suffered tremendously. I barely managed to finish these two books, both of which were fine…
I hope your January was nice and cozy. Thanks for reading and see you in February.
