July was a lot and it’s all good. So much time outside including walks, swimming, yardwork, running, and generalized summer sitting and sweating. I feel very grateful to have two babies that love being outside as much as I do. All three of us are grumpy on days we don’t get a long walk in.
This month was also all about the garden as harvesting began. We eat like kings right now! So much corn, tomatoes, squash, beans, and kale.
I got the opportunity to teach a yoga class to the local high school cross country team and it was a blast! Heads up locals: high school students can now attend classes for $5 per session.
Our second progressive playgroup was phenomenal, complete with swimming and buggy rides. Other dem groups in the works: a bookclub and a running group. These events are open to more than just democrats: liberals, progressives, independents, even conservatives who feel frustrated by the current administration and feel left behind by their party. Anyone with an open mind really.
If you have any interest at all, just join us…we would love to have you. Get in touch with me!
I read three books and listened to one this month. If you need a new audiobook, I suggest hearing Andrew Rannells read his memoir. I already loved him, but this book put it over the top. I literally LOL’d many times.
Some more July highlights…
