I actually have lots of report out on, so let's get to it!
I didn't do much listening while on the trip...mostly reading and watching if anything. I did open up Spotify yesterday to catch up on the New Music Fridays I've missed and I admit, I'm loving the new Little Big Town album! Ha!
All the things in three different European countries. Where do I begin!?
We only ate out for dinner twice while in Norway...once for sushi which was great, and the other for the meal of a lifetime. Needless to say, the one meal alone annihilated any budget we might have had so I cooked the other few nights. While eating we watched Netflix like old times---season two of Chef's Table. I have a true love-hate relationship with this show. It is so pretentious!
Also, long haul flights are always an opportunity to catch up on mediocre movies. On the way over I watched Burnt with Bradley Cooper....terrible! On the way back, I'm not sure if it was the unlimited free wine courtesy of KLM or the actual movie, but I thought Zootopia was hilarious! I was literally LOL'ing.
I was lucky enough to fit in a led primary series class at Meadowlark Yoga while in Edinburgh. The owner of this studio, Karen Breneman, was my first yoga teacher ever and has built the studio into something so beautiful!
I was so happy to see her and she took the class next to me! It was fun...and also the only yoga I've down in a little over two weeks! Today's first practice back should be interesting...
ALL THE THINGS. ALL THE DRINKS.
We seriously ate like kings on the trip...the meals we had out were incredible. I can't even begin to list it all.
On the way over I sped through The Nest by Cynthia D'Aprix Sweeney. I guess this is topping all the summer must read lists because it's a page turner that is easy to read....but the story goes nowhere, the characters are shallow and unsympathetic, and it has no point whatsoever. BLECH.
Once I finished, I left it next to the toilet in a stall of the bathroom at Amsterdam airport. I couldn't bear to lug it around another minute.
So many wonderful things and we bought them! Ha! Not really, but we did end up buying several things from both places that we have wanted since living there. When we were there before we had no money at all and couldn't buy anything. This time we went back and found those special things we've been wanting...it was so fun!
